Job Description:
We are looking for a dedicated Co-Ordinator Deli to optimize the performance of our Deli departments by ensuring in-store execution aligns with our commercial strategy, guidelines, and standards across regions. The role involves monitoring, regulating, and assisting corporate stores to adhere to best practices, driving production planning, margin analysis, and developing action plans to meet budget targets.

Minimum Requirements:

• Matric / Grade 12 (Retail Management Diploma advantageous).
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Deli Management.
• In-depth knowledge of in-store Deli processes and procedures.
• Excellent understanding of Deli operations.
• Valid South African ID.
• Valid Driver’s License.

• Understanding of key drivers, desired outcomes, and Deli standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Regular communication with regional, store, and in-store Fresh management.
• Identify and implement contingency plans to close performance gaps.
• Maintain a solid knowledge of the business area, industry practices, market trends, and competitive environment to inform trading and production plans.
• Develop and recommend business strategies targeting growth.
• Make specific recommendations for the development of company initiatives.
• Develop and implement action plans to achieve financial goals, considering industry and market trends.
• Monitor budgets and production planning; align sales with financial targets.
• Train and develop Fresh managers.
• Assist stores with weekly stock takes and compile store reports.
• Conduct regular quality checks and audits.
• Ensure that display and quality standards are maintained.
• Ensure optimal range availability at all times and minimize shrink through effective stock rotation.
