Job Description:
Join the Hollywoodbets Purple Team as a Housekeeper at our Voortrekker Branch in Oudtshoorn, Western Cape. This role is crucial in maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene of the office, ensuring the building is always in a clean and orderly condition.

Key Responsibilities:

• General Cleaning and Maintenance:
  • Ensure work areas are clean and tidy before opening, during service, and at closing times, including inside and outside the branch and car park area.
  • Sweep, mop, scrub, and/or vacuum floors; clean walls; gather and dispose of refuse; empty, wash, or sanitize bins, replacing them with fresh refuse bags.
  • Clean toilets, tables, counters, chairs, TV screens, furniture, lights, and equipment before team members begin work.
  • Keep service areas neat and tidy during both peak and quiet periods.
• Use of Cleaning Supplies:
  • Use cleaning chemicals and detergents appropriately.
  • Request cleaning supplies or equipment replacements from the Branch Manager as needed.
  • Report any breakages to the Branch Manager.
• Equipment and Facility Upkeep:
  • Clean branch aircon filters weekly.
  • Monitor and maintain tables and chairs in gaming areas, ensuring seat covers are in good condition and requesting replacements when necessary.
  • Adjust table legs to avoid wobbling and report any refurbishing needs for table tops and edges.

• Excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to take initiative while maintaining the quality of work.

Requirements:

• Previous housekeeping experience.
• Grade 12 (Matric) is advantageous.
