Job Description:
TWK Agri is seeking an experienced and motivated Assistant Branch Manager for their Trade Division in Kokstad, KwaZulu-Natal. This role supports the Branch Manager in overseeing all aspects of the store, ensuring operational efficiency, and driving sales performance.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Assist with overall responsibility and accountability for all aspects of the store.
• Conduct key operational performance assessments.
• Manage general administration tasks.
• Oversee stock control and minimize shrinkage.
• Manage the Point of Sale (POS) processes.
• Handle HR/IR management responsibilities.
• Ensure excellent customer service and satisfaction.
• Implement merchandising principles and marketing strategies.
• Enforce operations policies and procedures.
• Support the alignment of sales and expenses with the budget.
• Ensure stock indicators meet company benchmarks.
• Assist in managing store profitability.
• Supervise staff and manage branch operations in the absence of the Branch Manager.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Matric / Grade 12.
• Computer literate with proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Dynamic, self-motivated, and professional individual.
• Strong planning and time management skills.
• Proven customer service experience.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Bilingual (English/Zulu); Afrikaans is advantageous.
• Relevant degree/diploma is advantageous.
• At least 3 years of experience in the agricultural sector in a retail management role.
• Willingness to work outside of normal working hours when necessary.
• Ability to work in a corporate environment.
• Traceable references.
