Job Description:
Dis-Chem Pharmacies is seeking a CCTV Operator for their Longmeadow Distribution Centre. The role involves monitoring and controlling access to the premises through CCTV surveillance, investigating disturbances, and ensuring a safe and secure environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• Grade 12 / Matric
• Grade C PSIRA accreditation
• 1-3 years of CCTV control room experience in a warehousing/distribution center
• At least 1 year of experience with Hikvision in a pharmaceutical warehousing environment

Advantageous:

• At least 2 years of CCTV control room experience in a pharmaceutical warehousing environment
• Hikvision experience

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and control access to the premises
• Investigate and report signs of damage or unlawful entry
• Provide professional and courteous service to guests, customers, and employees
• Ensure the security of Dis-Chem’s property and assets
• Monitor CCTV footage and alarm systems
• Conduct patrols and assist in emergencies
• Maintain accurate records and perform special duties as needed

Competencies:

• Knowledge of PSIRA regulations
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and CCTV systems
• Ability to handle crises and security breaches effectively
• Self-management skills
