Job Purpose:
To deliver service excellence by providing professional and knowledgeable advice on beauty and skincare products. This role focuses on promoting and managing merchandise to build customer loyalty and maximize sales.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Consult with customers, answer product-based questions, and advise on the best products and services to meet their needs.
  • Drive and maximize sales of the beauty department through promotion, cross-selling, and up-selling to meet monthly targets.
  • Monitor sales, evaluate product performance, and suggest improvements for better product offerings and increased sales.
  • Maintain updated knowledge of beauty products, trends, promotions, and events to provide accurate information to customers.
  • Execute operational activities such as stock management, minimizing shrinkage, and maintaining high standards of housekeeping and administration.
  • Ensure in-store visual merchandising and presentation standards are consistently met within the beauty department.
  • Deliver superior customer service by acting as a brand ambassador, offering friendly and professional service.
  • Promote the Clicks Clubcard and enroll new members to achieve participation targets.
  • Enhance profitability and brand loyalty through the promotion of private label and exclusive products.
  • Support the brand’s vision to be the first choice health and beauty retailer by embodying company values.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Essential: Grade 12
  • Desirable: Relevant Beauty/Skincare qualification
  • Desirable: Experience in beauty/skincare, retail, FMCG, sales, or marketing environment

Skills, Abilities, and Knowledge:

  • Understanding of selling principles and retail/FMCG background
  • Knowledge of merchandising, promotions, and stock management
  • Strong customer service skills and knowledge of beauty/skincare products
  • Results-driven, target-oriented with strong customer orientation
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills; engaging and confident
