Job Summary:
Clicks is seeking a Senior Training Facilitator to join their Learning and Development Team in Cape Town. The role involves delivering learning and development interventions to meet current and future organizational needs, particularly in management and critical skills, in alignment with the business unit’s operating plan and the group learning and development framework.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner with management to deliver learning and development plans.
  • Coordinate the delivery of learning activities according to the approved calendar, budget, and business requirements.
  • Facilitate management development programs to enhance organizational capability.
  • Deliver learning programs that support the company’s Transformation Agenda.
  • Conduct learning interventions in line with quality standards to achieve learning outcomes.
  • Evaluate, monitor, and report on learning interventions to ensure business and learner impact.
  • Adhere to group policies, quality assurance standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Provide advice, guidance, and support on learning and development to business stakeholders.

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Understanding of learning methodologies, theories, and principles.
  • Knowledge of the Skills Development Act and virtual learning methodologies.
  • Strong facilitation, presentation, communication, planning, and organizing skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and business report writing capabilities.

Experience Requirements:

  • At least 3 years of experience as a facilitator in learning and development.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in facilitating management development programs.
  • Desirable: Experience in a retail environment.

Education Requirements:

  • Essential: 3-year Degree/Diploma in HR, B Com, BA, or B Soc Sc.
  • Desirable: OD – ETDP program qualification.
  • Essential: Registered Assessor.
  • Desirable: Moderator certification.
