Job Summary:
Clicks is looking for a Risk and Security Officer to ensure compliance with occupational health and safety guidelines at the Centurion Distribution Centre. The role focuses on minimizing hazards, maintaining a safe working environment, and managing security and safety protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the security service level agreement.
• Conduct risk-related investigations.
• Minimize financial losses related to theft, vandalism, accidents, and injuries.
• Develop methods for detecting safety issues and security violations.
• Manage loss prevention processes.
• Develop, implement, and monitor health and safety plans, processes, and procedures in line with OHSA, relevant bylaws, and SANS standards.
• Conduct quarterly risk assessments and enforce preventive measures.
• Halt unsafe acts or processes.
• Report results accurately and timely.
• Develop and implement safety and security programs.

Minimum Requirements:

Experience:

• At least 3 years of experience in safety and risk management.
• Experience in an H&S management distribution environment.
• Ability to work flexible shifts in a 24-hour environment.

Skills:

• Effective oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and handle unexpected situations.
• Proficiency in computer use and Microsoft Office.

Education:

• Diploma in Occupational Health & Safety.
• Grade 12.

Knowledge:

• Sound understanding of the Occupational Health & Safety Act (OHSA).
• Knowledge of fire prevention systems.
