Job Purpose:
The Mass Market Tied Agent is responsible for sales and servicing of funeral products to clients within the mass market segment, focusing on identifying and creating sales opportunities, building client relationships, and delivering excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Sales Opportunities Creation:
    • Develop a personal network within the sales territory.
    • Represent the organization at industry events to source referrals and promote 1Life.
  2. Sell Customer Propositions:
    • Identify products/services that best meet customer needs.
    • Explain product features and encourage customers to purchase.
  3. Customer Prospecting:
    • Guide customers through product features that directly address their needs.
  4. Customer Relationships Development:
    • Implement customer contact plans to communicate product launches and engage potential customers.
    • Act as the first point of contact for queries and complaints, ensuring appropriate responses.
  5. Client & Customer Management:
    • Manage key client relationships to maintain satisfaction, retention, and loyalty.
  6. Performance Management:
    • Set and pursue personal objectives and use performance management systems to improve results.
  7. Client Document Management:
    • Create and ensure compliance with company-wide document management systems.
  8. Operational Compliance:
    • Understand and adhere to company policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.
  9. Personal Capability Building:
    • Participate in training, ongoing education, and industry events to enhance skills and stay updated on industry best practices.

Job Requirements:

  • Education:
    • Matric / Grade 12 or SAQA Accredited Equivalent (Essential).
    • RE5 qualification (Advantageous).
  • Experience:
    • 2+ years of sales experience (face-to-face) in a corporate setting (Essential).

Additional Information:
Applicants must provide certified evidence of their qualifications to meet the required NQF level at the time of application. Compliance with the Financial Sector Conduct Authority (FSCA) requirements, including FAIS recognized qualifications, regulatory examinations, and CPD according to DOFA, is mandatory.
