AFGRI Animal Feeds, a division of AFGRI Group, is seeking a qualified Receptionist to join their team in Bethlehem. The successful candidate will play a key role in managing reception and switchboard operations, while providing crucial administrative support to various departments.

Job Description:
The Receptionist will be responsible for managing the reception area and switchboard, providing a professional and welcoming atmosphere. The role also involves supporting administrative tasks across departments, ensuring smooth operations, and maintaining accurate records. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, are essential, along with a proactive approach to task management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Reception Management: Handle incoming calls, manage the switchboard, and maintain a professional reception area.
  • Administrative Support: Assist with filing, processing personnel documents, and managing payroll-related queries.
  • Financial Administration: Process purchase orders, invoicing, and maintain accurate financial records.
  • HR Support: Manage personnel files, process leave requests, and handle employee queries related to payroll and other HR matters.

Job Requirements:

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Grade 12.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar administrative role.
  • Proficiency in administrative principles and computer literacy.
  • Fully bilingual (verbal and written communication skills).

Technical Competencies:

  • Strong understanding of administrative principles.
  • Proficient in computer use.
  • Good interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Behavioral Competencies:

  • Diligent and detail-oriented.
  • Positive, motivated, and assertive.
  • Self-starter who can work independently.
