Job Description:
Motus FORD PAARDEN EILAND is seeking a Parts Sales Executive responsible for achieving sales targets, ensuring customer satisfaction, and growing the customer base. The role involves visiting distributors, fleet owners, trade outlets, and shops to sell parts and accessories. This position offers a basic salary with a commission structure, presenting a lucrative opportunity for a driven sales professional with a strong track record in the motor retail industry.

Position Overview:
Reporting to the Parts Manager, the Parts Sales Executive will work to achieve sales targets, maintain and expand the customer base, and deliver excellent service to ensure customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Achieve parts sales targets by managing and growing a portfolio of customers.
  • Increase market share within the assigned area and retain existing customers by ensuring satisfaction.
  • Adhere to the Company Discount Policy.
  • Complete all documentation accurately and on time.
  • Manage part exchange replacements and reconditioned items in line with company policy.
  • Maintain regular and effective communication with customers, including scheduling regular visits.
  • Report and resolve customer issues efficiently and keep customers informed about new policies and promotions.
  • Handle customer queries and returned parts according to company standards.
  • Communicate market opportunities to management and other departments.
  • Maintain regular communication with the Parts Manager and attend meetings and training sessions as required.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Experience: Parts sales/tele sales experience in the motor industry is essential. Sales experience with customer relationship management is preferred, and experience with Ford is an advantage.
  • Education: Matric or equivalent NQF4 qualification.
  • License: Valid driver’s license with the ability to drive competently.
  • Skills: Fully computer literate with proficiency in MS Office applications (Word and Excel); knowledge of Automate is an advantage.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal communication skills.
  • Orientation: Strong customer and team orientation with high product knowledge and the ability to offer product solutions to customers.

  • Strong parts sales skills with excellent communication abilities.
  • Effective planning, organizing, and time management skills.
  • Ability to manage customer relationships and provide high-quality service.
  • Proactive in following up on active prospects and regularly updating the customer database.
  • Team player who can cooperate with all dealership staff to promote company interests.
