Pedros is looking for a skilled Fleet Maintenance Officer to manage the maintenance and mechanical aspects of our fleet nationwide. Key Responsibilities
- Mechanical and Technical Oversight: Manage and attend to all mechanical and technical needs of the group fleet, ensuring all vehicles are maintained to high standards.
- Cost Efficiency: Monitor and control repair and maintenance costs with service providers, ensuring cost-effective solutions.
- Fleet Repairs and Standards: Ensure that all repairs are completed to the expected standards across the group and that the fleet remains in excellent mechanical condition.
- Fleet Inspections: Conduct regular inspections of the entire fleet to ensure optimal performance and identify any areas requiring attention.
- Service Provider Management: Oversee the efficiency of service providers to ensure timely and high-quality repairs and maintenance.
Requirements
- Education: Matric certificate is required.
- Technical Skills: Motor Repair Qualification (Diesel Trade Qualification preferred) and Code 14 license are advantageous.
- Travel: Must be able to travel nationally as required.
- Technical Knowledge: Experience with fridge and tail lift repairs and maintenance is highly advantageous.
- Administrative Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office with strong administration experience.
- Driver Training: Experience in driver training is advantageous.
