Job Description

Key Responsibilities

• Inventory Management: Accurately record all incoming and outgoing products. Monitor stock levels and report any discrepancies to maintain inventory accuracy and prevent financial loss.
• Order Fulfillment: Pick, pack, and prepare products for dispatch, ensuring all orders meet quality standards and are accurately fulfilled.
• Receiving and Storing: Receive products, check for accuracy, and store them in the correct locations while adhering to safety and hygiene standards.
• Documentation and Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate records of inventory movements, including shipping and receiving logs. Use warehouse management systems (WMS) to track and update inventory data.
• Quality Control: Inspect products for quality, freshness, and any signs of damage. Ensure all poultry products are stored at the appropriate temperatures to maintain their quality and avoid costly losses.
• Health and Safety Compliance: Adhere to all health and safety regulations, particularly when handling perishable goods like poultry. Use PPE and follow safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with other warehouse staff, including forklift operators and supervisors, to ensure efficient warehouse operations. Coordinate with transportation teams for timely deliveries.

Requirements

• Detail-oriented and highly organized with a keen eye for accuracy.
• Proficiency in Excel and experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) preferred.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to work well in a team environment.
