Job Description:
BUCO Komatipoort is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Admin Clerk to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for a variety of administrative tasks that support our store operations, ensuring efficiency and accuracy in all processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Reception and Cashiering:
- Provide relief reception and cashier services in a professional manner as required.
- Invoice Management:
- Ensure accurate and timely filing of customer invoices (debtors account).
- Capture invoices by matching GRNs to invoices accurately.
- Inventory Auditing:
- Assist with accurate cycle counting as part of the inventory auditing procedure.
- Process CVRs efficiently in cases of incorrect quantities received, price differences, and damaged goods returns.
- Month-End Processing:
- Organize and consolidate month-end statements for posting.
- Tabulate and post data in record books.
- Record Keeping:
- Compile and maintain records of business transactions and office activities.
- Perform various clerical duties, including copying data, compiling records, and generating reports.
- Employee Onboarding:
- Ensure all documents related to the onboarding of new employees are completed and submitted on time.
- Skills Development & EE Reporting:
- Assist the Store Accountant with all administration related to skills development and employment equity reporting.
- Personnel Files & Administrative Functions:
- Maintain accurate personnel files and records.
- Sort leave forms and administer/report WCA claims.
- Handle the issuing and documentation of disciplinary actions.
- Recruitment Administration:
- Assist with recruitment administration and job advertising when required.
- GRN/CVR Management:
- Capture GRNs/CVRs into the system accurately.
- Prepare, issue, and send out receipts, bills, policies, statements, and checks.
- Creditor Reconciliation:
- Accurately and timely reconcile creditors to supplier statements.
- Investigate variances such as price and quantity differences and provide outcomes to management.
- Supplier Relations:
- Resolve queries with suppliers in a professional and efficient manner.
- Document Filing:
- File unpaid matched GRNs, delivery notes, orders, and buyout details.
- Housekeeping:
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Company Values:

Requirements:
- Education:
- Grade 12 qualification.
- Qualifications:
- Business Management N4 – N6.
- Human Resources N4 – N6.
- Experience:
- Minimum of 3 years in general administration duties.
- Experience working with people (team player).
- Skills:
- Good communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work across multiple functions (multi-functional orientation).
- Adaptability and flexibility to handle various tasks and changing priorities.
- Basic computer skills.
