Job Description:
BUCO Plaza in the Southern Suburbs is seeking a dedicated General Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring efficient service to our customers and maintaining the organization of our yard and stock areas.

Key Responsibilities:

• Order Preparation: Accurately prepare orders for customers and drivers.
• Loading and Offloading: Assist with the loading and offloading of vehicles, ensuring efficiency and safety.
• Customer and Supplier Assistance: Provide prompt and courteous assistance to customers and suppliers with loading and offloading their vehicles.
• Yard Management: Ensure yard stock items are neatly packed, accessible, and well-organized.
• Vehicle Maintenance: Ensure vehicles are clean and safely loaded.
• Workshop/Joinery Assistance: Assist customers and suppliers with workshop and joinery needs.
• Wash Bay Activities: Accurately complete all wash bay activities.
• Store Organization: Ensure store shelves, boards, and other stock items are neatly packed and accessible for customers.
• Company Values: Uphold and promote the company’s values and culture in all interactions and tasks.

Requirements:

• Education: Grade 12 qualification.
• Skills & Knowledge:
  • Basic product knowledge relevant to the FMCG industry.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a team environment.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
