Job Description:

We are looking for two dedicated P&O Generalist Operations professionals to support the effective management of People & Organisation (P&O) processes at our Amandelbult Complex. This role will focus on maintaining system data quality, ensuring compliance with safety and legal standards, and managing the employment life cycle of employees within your assigned section.

Key Responsibilities:

  • System Management: Oversee the accurate maintenance of P&O systems, ensuring all processes are compliant with company policies and legal standards.
  • Employee Lifecycle Management: Manage onboarding, movements, disciplinary actions, grievance inquiries, and off-boarding processes in line with company procedures.
  • Compliance and Reporting: Regularly monitor P&O processes to ensure full compliance, generate accurate system reports, and communicate any process issues to relevant stakeholders.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the P&O Manager and Advisors, fostering teamwork among colleagues and stakeholders to achieve operational excellence.
  • Conflict Resolution: Identify and address potential conflict situations, proposing effective solutions and ensuring fair decisions in line with Industrial Relations procedures.
  • Cultural Diversity: Manage cultural diversity fairly, ensuring equal application of P&O regulations across the workforce.

Qualifications:

  • NQF 6 Advanced Certificate/National Diploma in a related field.
  • A Labour Law qualification is advantageous.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in People & Organisation, with at least 2 years in the mining industry.
  • Demonstrated expertise in the employment life cycle, behaviour management, and generalist P&O functions.
  • Proficiency in SAP HR, Navigator+, and other relevant software.

Additional Requirements:

  • Valid driver’s licence.
