Key Purpose:
The Distribution Supervisor is responsible for driving consistent service levels by ensuring superior execution of the delivery process while adhering to competition strategies. The role also focuses on enhancing profitability by exploring delivery mode opportunities.
Key Roles and Responsibilities:
- Delivery Productivity Management:
- Provide in-trade coaching on managing MBFU (Minimum Buy Full Units), refusals, and out-of-date deliveries (OODD).
- Ensure adherence to delivery modes and identify opportunities for cost-effective alternatives.
- Verify Master Data accuracy.
- Conduct in-trade owner-driver standard verification.
- Adhere to market visit plans with a minimum in-trade presence of 4 days per week, ensuring SOP adherence and closing gaps where necessary.
- Quality Management:
- Ensure quality is integrated into the Route Delivery Execution Process and that all employees understand and follow the quality guidelines.
- Ensure the customer complaint process is understood and followed, with KPIs tracked and action plans developed to improve results.
- Train drivers to identify and manage quality-related issues and handle them correctly to minimize problems.
- Capacity Occupation and Refusal Management:
- Establish Service Level Agreements (SLAs) with 2DCP on daily capacity optimization.
- Develop and maintain communication channels and action plans to track and manage refusals.
- Ensure return policies are comprehensive, updated, and adhered to.
- Support Service Social Systems:
- Establish routines with the Customer Experience Center (CXC) to track performance.
- Create an environment that encourages cross-functional learning and integration.

Minimum Requirements:
- A relevant 3-year tertiary degree/diploma, preferably in Supply Chain and/or Logistics.
- 2 years of experience in a customer service role within an FMCG Supply Chain and/or Logistics.
- Valid Code 08 Driver’s License.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- SAP experience is preferred.
