Job Title: Senior Manager – ICT
Location: Head Office
Division: Corporate Services
Total Guaranteed Package: R 1,263,179.53 Per Annum (inclusive of benefits)

Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Information Systems.
Added Advantage:
- Formal management qualifications such as MDP, SMDP, etc.
- Certifications like ITIL, COBIT, CISA, CGEIT.
Minimum Experience:
- 8 years of related experience in a corporate IT department with exposure to networking, security, and software development.
- 5 years of management experience.
- 3 years of experience in Project Management.
- Experience in business process understanding and re-engineering.
- Knowledge of Microsoft environment.
- Sound understanding of business processes.
Key Outputs:
Reporting to the Executive Manager: Corporate Services, the Senior Manager – ICT will:
- Establish and review IT Strategy to align with organizational goals and business needs.
- Keep policies, procedures, and Terms of References up-to-date.
- Provide leadership, strategic direction, and management for the IT Department.
- Conduct strategic planning sessions, set goals, and action the corporate scorecard for the ICT department.
- Provide reliable IT infrastructure and services to internal customers.
- Oversee and manage the LAN and WAN, ensuring secure network access.
- Ensure proper configuration of windows servers, exchange servers, and SQL servers.
- Oversee business analysis and process review to enhance efficiency.
- Perform project manager role on large IT projects and oversee small and medium IT projects.
- Manage IT training and collaborate with HR on external IT training.
- Manage all resources of the IT unit, including staff development and performance reviews.
Other Requirements:
- Maintain knowledge and skills in the evolving IT environment.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Valid unendorsed driver’s license.
- Lateral thinking, business acumen, and process knowledge.
Preferences:
- Experience in computer programming.
- Experience with BAAN or similar ERP systems.
- Conflict management and good presentation skills.
