Reporting Line:
This position reports directly to the Risk and Security Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels and discrepancies to proactively identify and address potential shrinkage issues.
- Loss Prevention: Develop and implement robust loss prevention strategies and policies to mitigate theft, pilferage, and unauthorized access.
- Risk Assessment: Conduct thorough risk assessments to identify potential operational risks that could lead to losses.
- Training and Education: Provide ongoing training to DC staff on loss prevention strategies, fostering a culture of vigilance and responsibility.
- Continuous Improvement: Regularly review and enhance loss prevention and safety protocols to stay ahead of evolving risks and industry trends.
- Incident Management: Lead investigations into loss incidents, compile evidence, conduct interviews, and escalate findings to the Risk Manager for further action.
- Documentation and Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and detailed records of all loss prevention activities, incidents, and preventive measures for legal and compliance purposes.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree or Advanced Diploma.
- 3-5 years of relevant experience in loss prevention or a related field.
