Introduction:
Join our dynamic team as a Warehouse Team Leader in the fast-paced Food & Beverages industry. This role is crucial in ensuring that our warehouse operations run smoothly, focusing on efficient load planning, trip scheduling, and stock control. You’ll lead a team of checker operators to ensure all trailers are loaded correctly on the first attempt, documentation is accurately completed, and loads are verified daily. Your ability to optimize team performance while maintaining a safe and risk-free environment will be key to your success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Load Planning & Trip Scheduling: Execute load planning and trip scheduling to ensure timely deliveries.
• Shipment Checks: Verify outgoing and incoming shipments to maintain accuracy and efficiency in warehouse operations.
• Administrative Duties: Perform essential administrative tasks related to warehouse management.
• Stock Control: Monitor and manage stock levels, ensuring accurate inventory control.
• Team Optimization: Lead and optimize team performance to meet operational goals.
• Safety & Compliance: Maintain a safe, healthy, and risk-free environment in compliance with all relevant regulations.

Minimum Requirements:

Skills & Competencies:

• Strong interpersonal skills to build and maintain good relationships.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure.
• Excellent self-management practices.
• Strong numerical skills and attention to detail.
• Methodical and disciplined approach to work.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Education: Grade 12 is mandatory; a tertiary qualification in Warehousing or Supply Chain is advantageous.
• Driving License: A valid Code 08 (B) driver’s license.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Office.
• Experience: Previous experience in a similar role within warehousing, supply chain, or logistics.
