Job Overview:

Adendorff Machinery Mart is seeking a young, motivated individual to join our dynamic retail sales team at our Gezina, Pretoria branch. This role is perfect for someone interested in starting or advancing their career in sales, particularly within the tools and machinery industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Customer Interaction:
  • Answer customer questions and provide information on merchandise.
  • Address customer queries effectively.
• Stock Management:
  • Restock shelves and maintain store displays.
  • Assist with unloading deliveries and stacking shelves.
• Sales Operations:
  • Process payments using the store’s point of sale system.
  • Offer technical advice on products to customers.
• Store Maintenance:
  • Ensure the store is clean and well-organized (general housekeeping).

Desired Skills:

• Experience in customer service and sales.
• Exposure to the Automotive, Engineering, Tools, or Machinery environment is a plus.
• Experience in Merchandising, Stock Taking, and Retail Branch Procedures is an added advantage.
• Technical knowledge in DIY or Hardware is highly beneficial.
• Ability to work well as part of a team, with a reliable and honest approach to work.

Additional Information:

• Minimum Requirement: Senior Certificate.
• Salary: Negotiable, with benefits available.
• Working Hours: Monday – Friday 08:00 – 17:00, Saturdays 08:00 – 13:00.
