REQUIREMENTS FOR APPLICATION

  1. Z83 Form: Must be signed and accompanied by a recently updated, comprehensive CV.
  2. Documents: Copies of qualifications, identity documents, and driver’s license (if applicable) and other relevant documents. Certification of documents is not required when applying, but shortlisted candidates will need to provide certified copies before the interview.
  3. Foreign Qualifications: Evaluation certificate from the South African Qualification Authority (SAQA) required before the interview.
  4. Permanent Residents: Submit Permanent Residence Permit before the interview.
  5. Document Submission: Failure to submit all requested documents will result in the application not being considered.

ASSISTANT DIRECTOR: DISTRICT SCHOLAR TRANSPORT (X2 POSTS)

  • Salary: R444 036 – R532 602 per annum (Level 09)

Requirements:

  • National Senior Certificate, National Diploma (NQF Level 6) / B. Degree (NQF Level 7 as recognized by SAQA) in relevant fields.
  • 3 years’ relevant supervisory experience in Public Transport/Scholar Transport environment.
  • Valid Driver’s License.
  • Knowledge of public transport functions, project management, strategic planning, report writing, and relevant legislation.

Duties:

  • Support implementation of Scholar Transport services.
  • Monitor Scholar Transport services.
  • Manage Scholar Transport budget and payment processes.
  • Maintain stakeholder relations.
  • Manage directorate resources.

ASSISTANT DIRECTOR: PRE-AUDIT SERVICES (X1 POST)

  • Salary: R444 036 – R532 602 per annum (Level 09)

Requirements:

  • National Senior Certificate, National Diploma (NQF Level 6) / B. Degree (NQF Level 7 as recognized by SAQA) in relevant fields.
  • 3-5 years’ experience in pre-audit environment at a supervisory level.
  • Valid Driver’s License.
  • Knowledge of applicable legislation, government programs, and financial management.

Duties:

  • Render financial control, compliance, and pre-audit services.
  • Develop/review internal control frameworks.
  • Manage irregular, unauthorized, and fruitless expenditure reporting.
  • Implement and manage audit intervention plans.
  • Coordinate control self-assessments.
  • Effective management of Pre-Audit unit.
