Courier

This job posting details the position of a Courier at Lancet Labs, based at Richmond Collections. The role focuses on the safe and timely collection and delivery of goods and providing excellent customer service.

**Requirements:**
– Grade 12 or relevant NQF level 4 qualification preferable
– Appropriate driver’s license
– Grade 10 with 2-3 years of relevant working experience or a minimum of 10 years of courier experience

**Key Duties:**
– Check moxes and tasks to plan a collection and delivery route
– Conduct delivery and collection of specimens from outlying laboratories and support doctors and clients to ensure timely and proper delivery
– Complete and sign proof of delivery for specimens or reports collected or delivered
– Scan specimens and results on the Courier Management Programme for tracking and tracing purposes
– Maintain daily safekeeping and fault reporting on Lancet’s assets (vehicles, petrol cards, uniforms, etc.) and equipment
– Use protective wear to ensure safety and adherence to Health and Safety regulations
– Complete and submit incident and accident reports to Management for timely insurance claims processing and repairs
– Maintain cleanliness of Lancet vehicles and report any spills of hazardous materials to Management
