Regional Collections & Administration Supervisor

This job posting details the position of a Regional Collections & Administration Supervisor at Lancet Labs, based in George and Mossel Bay, Western Cape. The role involves overseeing the collections and administration section for the region to ensure smooth operations and optimal performance.

**Requirements:**
– Grade 12 or relevant NQF level 4 qualification
– 3-5 years of relevant working experience
– 0-1 year of supervisory experience
– Knowledge of business processes and services, laboratory information systems, occupational health and safety, and organizational policies
– Computer literacy

**Key Duties:**
– Supervise laboratory support, administrative, and collections functions to ensure smooth operations at various sites
– Monitor and control expenses to maximize profitability
– Extract and analyze management reports to implement or recommend corrective actions
– Provide excellent customer service and resolve client queries
– Attend and participate in meetings to monitor organizational processes
– Participate in project teams to implement processes and systems at new or upgraded laboratories
– Occasionally accompany drivers on routes to ensure service standards are maintained and resolve any issues
– Ensure the correct application of quality assurance processes and standard operating procedures
– Draft rosters for day and late shifts to ensure adequate staffing and manage overtime
– Review and implement changes to SOPs to maintain high-quality, cost-effective, and safe services
– Prepare documents for internal and external audits to maintain or obtain accreditation
– Plan and supervise staff activities to optimize resource utilization
– Train and develop staff to ensure they meet performance objectives
– Communicate potential problems to management and assist with solutions
– Oversee asset management and procurement to optimize stock levels and reduce costs
– Report accidents and coordinate the process
– Manage vehicle services and cleanliness
