Job description
The successful candidate will be responsible for, but not be limited to:
· Lead and supervise a team of store administrators / clerks ad receivers / pickers
· Plan, organise, schedule and monitor store activities in line with regulations and procedures
· Monitor and control the receipt and issuance of spares for underground/surface equipment
· Monitor and control the daily processing of outbound sales transactions and inbound receiving transactions
· Verify quantity and quality of goods, oversee inventory levels and prepare stock reconciliation reports
· Implement and monitor measures and controls to avoid stock damages, theft and wastage, report deficiencies to Manager
· Generate accurate reports, analyse reports and action discrepancies
· Administer the ERP system and manage open order reports
Minimum requirements
· Grade 12 with mathematics or NQF Level 4 equivalent
· Logistics and Supply Chain Management Diploma at NQF 6 or relevant similar tertiary qualification
· Proficient in Microsoft Office [Intermediate Word and Excel]
· Proficient in JD Edwards or similar ERP system
· Valid EB Driver’s licence
· Good interpersonal skills including a customer service orientation
· Ability to plan, organise, schedule and supervise activities
· Good English written and verbal communication skills with ability to communicate at all levels
· Valid Medicate certificate of Fitness
· Minimum 4 years of inbound / experience in a stores environment, preferably within the mining industry
· Experience supervising a team of Store Clerks, Administrators and Store Pickers
· Experience generating and analysing reports
· Working knowledge of inbound and outbound principles
· Working knowledge of supply chain and material stacking & packing policies and procedures
