We’re on the lookout for a  Production Controller Woodyard to ensure the smooth running of the Woodyard, managing timber and chip stocks, addressing all non-conformances, breakdowns, problem solving and any other technical tasks requested by the Production Manager.

 

As a Production Controller, you will be responsible to:

 

• Check and report daily on log and chip product qualities.
• Review daily production report for accuracy.
• Compile and analyze production and quality graphs weekly for SW chipping, HW chipping, BOC and chips after Screening.
• Create purchase requisitions and perform service acceptances.
• Maintain daily stock levels to sustain mill operations.
• Create yearly production orders for logs and chips in SAP.
• Compile monthly production and diesel reports.
• Perform weekly timber stock count.
• Comply with SHEQ requirements, report accidents, injuries and fires, conduct plant walkabouts and inspections, participate in internal SHEQ audits.

Required Minimum Qualifications: 

• Matric with Maths & Science.
• Relevant NQF level 5 qualification.
• 3-5 years’ experience in a Production Environment
