Position Overview
Airlink is seeking a Storeman to join its Stores & Logistics team in Johannesburg. The successful candidate will be responsible for controlling, storing, receiving, and dispatching all spares, tooling, and consumables, ensuring timely distribution to outstations and operational readiness.
This role requires a detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and organized professional capable of managing multiple tasks in a dynamic aviation logistics environment.
Key Responsibilities

Control, store, receive, and dispatch all spares, tooling, and consumables within the stores.

Distribute required spares to outstations following company procedures.

Pick parts and consumables within various store areas and between hangars.

Deliver parts to cargo after hours and assist with cargo screening when necessary.

Bin received parts into the Vertical Storage Unit (VSU) and pick requested parts as required.

Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure proper stock traceability.

Adhere to all aviation safety, security, and company operational procedures.
Minimum Requirements
-
Grade 12 / Matric Certificate or equivalent – Essential.

DG CAT 6 & Human Factors certification – Required.

AVSEC L1 Cargo certification – Required.

Minimum of 1 year aviation-related experience.

Knowledge of aviation stores procedures, stock management, and inventory control.

Strong organizational, communication, and teamwork skills.

Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet operational deadlines.
