Position Overview
The Supervisor: Workshop/Production Warehouse will support the Store/Branch Manager in overseeing daily workshop and production operations while ensuring adherence to company policies, OHASA, and SHE standards. The role is critical in maintaining smooth operations, optimising productivity, and upholding TimberCity’s values and culture.
The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge, leadership skills, and experience in warehouse or production management, ensuring a safe and efficient working environment.
Key Responsibilities

Oversee the processing of goods in the warehouse and production areas.

Manage the operation and performance of the machine shop.

Ensure regular maintenance of workshop machinery and equipment.

Support the Store/Branch Manager in daily operational activities.

Uphold and promote TimberCity’s company values and organisational culture.

Maintain a safe and compliant working environment in line with OHASA and SHE standards.

Monitor workflow, identify bottlenecks, and implement process improvements to optimise productivity.

Provide guidance, supervision, and mentorship to workshop and production staff.
Minimum Requirements

Matric / Grade 12 certificate.

Technical qualification relevant to workshop or production operations.

Minimum of 3 years industry experience in a workshop, warehouse, or production environment.

Strong working knowledge of OHASA and SHE regulations.

Proven supervisory or team leadership experience in industrial or manufacturing settings.

Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities efficiently.
