Position Overview
The Finance and Insurance Manager – Hyundai Zambezi is responsible for delivering high-quality financial and insurance services to customers and supporting dealership operations. The role focuses on maximizing gross profit, managing debtor books, ensuring regulatory compliance, and providing exceptional customer experiences.
This position is ideal for a candidate with a strong customer service orientation, solid knowledge of automotive finance and insurance, and proven ability to meet sales targets.
Minimum Requirements
Education and Qualifications:

Grade 12 / Matric with a relevant diploma.
-
Credit Management Diploma (advantageous).
-
Regulatory Exam, NC Accreditation, Retail or Short-Term Insurance Qualification with minimum 120 credits.

Accredited by FSP and mandated to perform NCA functions (s13 mandate).
Experience:
-
Minimum 3 years’ experience in automotive retail finance, insurance, or banking, with a customer service focus.
Skills and Knowledge:
-
Up-to-date knowledge of vehicle legislation, dealership policies, and trade practices.

Strong sales management and customer service skills.
-
Knowledge of NCA, CRA, FAIS, FICA, and retail compliance requirements.

Ability to manage debtor books, perform financial needs analyses, and sell value-added products.

Continuous Professional Development (CPD) points in line with regulatory requirements.

Valid driver’s license.
Key Responsibilities

Deliver on performance targets, budget goals, and sales objectives in a high-volume dealership.

Maximize second gross profit and overall dealership revenue.

Ensure dealership compliance with governance, legislation, and internal policies.

Conduct financial needs analyses and provide clients with customized finance and insurance solutions.

Manage and maintain the finance and insurance debtor’s book, ensuring accurate administration.

Provide operational support for finance and insurance initiatives, contributing to dealership growth.

Educate and inform customers on products and financial solutions to retain clients and increase sales revenue.

Record and report transactional activities to provide accurate and timely information for decision-making.

Continuously enhance personal competence through knowledge development and industry updates.
