Position Overview
The Bookkeeper at Hyundai Bruma is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing accounts, and supporting day-to-day finance operations. This role ensures compliance with statutory regulations, accurate reporting, and smooth financial processes, contributing directly to the financial health and operational efficiency of the dealership.
Key Responsibilities

Manage all aspects of accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.

Process payroll and maintain accurate employee financial records.

Prepare, analyze, and report financial statements and management reports.

Reconcile bank and credit card statements to ensure accuracy.

Calculate and file VAT returns and other statutory tax obligations.

Monitor cash flow and assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.

Support month-end and year-end financial closings.

Collaborate with external auditors, accountants, and financial advisors as required.

Ensure compliance with all South African financial regulations and reporting standards.
Qualifications and Skills

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

Minimum 3 years’ experience as a Bookkeeper, preferably in the automotive industry.

Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.

Strong attention to detail with high accuracy in financial records.

Excellent organizational and time management skills.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Knowledge of South African tax regulations and financial reporting requirements.
