Role Overview

The Internal Sales Agent (Telesales) is responsible for selling Boxer’s product range to informal trade clients, including independent stores and rural vendors. This role requires a motivated sales professional with strong telesales expertise, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently while driving sales growth in the commercial and marketing division.


Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct cold calls and outreach to independent stores and vendors in rural areas.

  • Promote and sell a comprehensive basket of groceries to informal trade customers.

  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, understanding customer needs and providing tailored solutions.

  • Achieve sales targets and contribute to overall company growth.

  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities and customer interactions.

  • Collaborate with the Commercial team to identify opportunities for business expansion.


Minimum Requirements

  • Minimum Matric (Grade 12) certificate or equivalent.

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in telesales or sales agent role within a retail environment.

  • Proficiency in MS Excel and other office software.

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

  • Strong sales acumen with a results-driven and customer-focused attitude.

  • Self-motivated, resilient, and able to work independently.
