The Port Elizabeth branch is seeking a Sales Representative to drive new business, expand client relationships, and contribute to DSV’s growth in the region.
This role is perfect for proactive sales professionals with experience in the transport and logistics industry, who are results-driven and customer-focused.
Role Overview
The Sales Representative will focus on signing new business for the allocated region, developing a qualified sales pipeline, and achieving monthly and annual revenue targets. You will be responsible for client engagement, tender management, and reporting to the Regional Sales Manager while representing DSV’s brand and services.
Key Responsibilities

Sign new business in the distribution market for the allocated branch.

Prospect, qualify, and convert leads into sustainable billing clients.

Develop and manage a qualified new business pipeline.

Maintain client relationships and ensure high customer satisfaction.

Handle tender/proposal preparation, presentation, and submission.

Conduct competitor and industry analysis to identify growth opportunities.

Perform monthly billing and financial reporting as required.

Update and maintain internal CRM system and client files.

Ensure interdepartmental communication for cross-silo solutions.

Mentor junior New Business Sales Executives.

Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets and KPIs.

Attend and represent DSV at industry events and client meetings.
Minimum Requirements

1–2 years’ experience in new business sales within the transport and logistics industry

Proven ability to prospect and achieve new business targets

Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)

Valid driver’s license and reliable transport

Strong administrative skills with high attention to detail

Excellent communication and presentation skills
