BRB, part of Premier Foods, is a leading food manufacturer in South Africa, specializing in bakery products and grain milling. The Potchefstroom facility is seeking a Despatch Clerk to administer the dispatch process, including stock receiving, data capture, invoicing, and ensuring on-time delivery of products.

This role is ideal for candidates with experience in FMCG environments, strong administrative skills, and an eye for accuracy and efficiency.


Role Overview

The Despatch Clerk will manage and administer the full dispatch process. This includes capturing stock data, processing invoices, verifying physical stock against system records, supervising staff, assisting with customer complaints, and ensuring timely and accurate loading of products for delivery.


Key Responsibilities

  • Receive and capture stock from bakeries for dispatch.

  • Administer dispatch documentation and process invoices.

  • Assist with customer complaints as required.

  • Check and verify physical stock against system stock and picking slips.

  • Ensure correct and timely loading of trucks.

  • Supervise dispatch staff to maintain operational efficiency.

  • Maintain accurate data capture and documentation.

  • Apply innovation and continuous improvement in dispatch processes.

  • Collaborate with other departments to meet daily deadlines.


Minimum Requirements

  • Grade 12 (Matric) certificate or equivalent.

  • Computer literacy, particularly with in-house systems (DRM, GP10, GP2015).

  • 2–3 years’ experience in a similar FMCG dispatch/admin role.

  • Accuracy, attention to detail, and numerical ability.
