Job Requirements & Applicant Profile
To thrive in this Accounts Receivable Officer role, you will need a strong mix of foundational education, practical experience, and essential skills.
- Formal Qualifications: You must have a Grade 12 or NQF Level 4 qualification, with Mathematics and Accounting as foundational subjects. These subjects will equip you with the essential knowledge needed to navigate financial processes with confidence.
- Experience: We are looking for a candidate with 1 to 3 years of experience in an accounts receivable or debtors’ environment. This could be in debt collection, a call center, or any similar customer-facing financial role. If you have experience working with accounts and enjoy helping people resolve queries, you will fit right in.
- Skills: You should have strong communication skills, with fluency in both English and Afrikaans. Your technical skills are also crucial: you must be comfortable with computer systems and have the ability to type efficiently (at least 35 wpm).
