Role Overview
GALXBOY is hiring enthusiastic and stylish Sales Assistants to join the Pretoria team at Co.Space Mall for the upcoming festive season. This fixed-term role runs from 1 November 2025 to 31 January 2026, covering the busiest period in retail when stores are buzzing with energy, late-night trading, and high customer volumes.
The Sales Assistant role is ideal for individuals who are energetic, confident, and passionate about fashion. You will play a key part in creating memorable customer experiences, ensuring the store maintains its high visual standards, and supporting sales performance during this peak season.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional customer service, ensuring every shopper leaves with a positive impression of the GALXBOY brand.
- Master product knowledge to confidently advise customers on fits, styles, fabrics, and the latest drops.
- Support visual merchandising by keeping the store attractive, well-organized, and aligned with brand guidelines.
- Actively assist customers with styling advice and outfit coordination.
- Maintain store standards through regular replenishment, cleanliness, and attention to detail.
- Manage the festive season’s fast pace, including long queues, extended shopping hours, and high customer traffic.
- Operate point-of-sale systems accurately and efficiently.
Qualifications and Experience
- Matric certificate or equivalent is preferred.
- Previous retail or customer service experience is advantageous but not essential.
- A strong passion for fashion, style, and cultural trends is highly valued.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
- Tech-savvy and quick to adapt to digital systems and point-of-sale technology.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
