Role Overview
TWK Agri is looking for a Salesman (Parts) to join its Trade Division in Piet Retief, Mpumalanga. This permanent position offers the chance to work in a customer-facing sales role within the agricultural sector, supporting farmers and clients with the parts, products, and service solutions they need.
The Salesman (Parts) will play a vital role in assisting the manager with daily operations, handling general administration, and driving customer satisfaction through exceptional sales support. This role requires someone with product knowledge, a passion for sales, and the ability to provide a professional and reliable service to clients.
Key Responsibilities
As a Salesman (Parts) at TWK Agri, your day-to-day duties will include:
- Assisting the branch manager with the supervision of all activities and services within the Trade Division.
- Performing general administrative tasks to ensure smooth operations.
- Preparing and generating accurate quotations for clients.
- Issuing invoices to customers promptly and efficiently.
- Delivering outstanding customer service, with a focus on satisfaction and repeat business.
- Assisting with stock control and participating in regular stock takes.
- Supporting the mechanisation team to ensure parts and supplies are available when needed.
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships to enhance sales opportunities.
Qualifications and Experience
To be considered for this position, applicants should meet the following minimum requirements:
- Matric / Grade 12 qualification.
- Computer literacy and the ability to work with sales and invoicing systems.
- A valid driver’s licence.
- Previous experience in agricultural parts sales will be highly advantageous.
- Strong product knowledge of agricultural equipment and parts.
- Proven selling skills and the ability to meet targets.
- Excellent customer service expertise and client-facing abilities.
- Professional, dynamic, and self-motivated personality.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills to engage effectively with colleagues and customers.
- A genuine passion for sales and a willingness to go the extra mile to ensure customer satisfaction.
