Role Overview
The Finance Division at TWK Agri is looking for a motivated Creditors Clerk to join the team at Piet Retief, Mpumalanga. This role is ideal for an individual with strong numerical skills, attention to detail, and a drive to contribute to the smooth operation of financial processes.
The Creditors Clerk will be responsible for handling supplier invoices, ensuring reconciliations are accurate, and maintaining effective communication with suppliers and internal stakeholders. This is a key position within the Finance Division and plays a critical role in supporting the overall financial health of the organisation.
Key Responsibilities
As a Creditors Clerk at TWK Agri, your daily tasks will include but are not limited to:
- Processing supplier invoices with accuracy and efficiency.
- Maintaining a proper filing system for financial documents.
- Preparing reconciliations to ensure all accounts balance correctly.
- Following up with suppliers and branches to resolve outstanding queries.
- Processing supplier payments in line with company policies and deadlines.
- Performing general office duties to support the Finance Division.
- Ensuring compliance with deadlines and company standards.
This role requires excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities while ensuring that all tasks are completed accurately and on time.
Qualifications and Experience
To be successful in this role, candidates should meet the following requirements:
- Matric / Grade 12 with Mathematics and Accounting as compulsory subjects.
- Previous experience in a finance or creditors role will be advantageous.
- Strong computer literacy, particularly in MS Office and accounting software.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interact effectively with people at all levels.
- High levels of honesty, reliability, and integrity.
- Ability to comply with deadlines and work well under pressure.
- A goal-driven approach with attention to detail and accuracy.
