ROLE OVERVIEW

VKB is seeking a Picker to join its Distribution Centre in Bethlehem. This role is responsible for ensuring the accurate picking, checking, and management of stock, contributing to efficient warehouse operations and excellent customer service. The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment, handling both manual tasks and operating equipment where required.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Pick, check, and pack stock accurately according to instructions.
Receive and dispatch stock in line with company procedures.
Maintain accurate stock control and reporting.
Operate a forklift (where licensed).
Handle products manually, including lifting items up to 15kg.
Ensure compliance with safety and warehouse regulations.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

Grade 12 / NQF4 qualification.
Minimum 1 year’s experience in a similar warehouse/distribution role.
Forklift licence will be an added advantage.

Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Excellent time management and punctuality.
Ability to work independently and within a team.
Organised and reliable.
