ABOUT THE ROLE
The Tables Dealer is the frontline representative of the casino, facilitating the smooth and professional operation of table games such as Roulette, Blackjack, Baccarat, and Poker. You will provide exceptional customer service while ensuring compliance with company policies, gaming regulations, and responsible gambling principles. This role requires technical proficiency in table game dealing, strong numerical skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Facilitate the play of casino table games in accordance with established procedures and regulations.
- Deliver exceptional customer service to all guests on the gaming floor.
- Manage chip handling, payouts, and betting procedures with accuracy and integrity.
- Operate gaming table equipment including chipping machines and shuffling machines.
- Ensure strict compliance with gaming regulations and internal company policies.
- Monitor game flow and resolve minor conflicts or disputes in a professional manner.
- Create an engaging and entertaining environment for players while maintaining professional conduct.
- Apply responsible gambling principles during interactions with guests.
- Accurately calculate payouts and manage large numerical values under pressure.
- Follow all compliance and security procedures related to cash handling and game operations.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Education
- Grade 12 (Matric) or equivalent.
- Recognised national qualification in gaming operations (preferred).
Licensing
- Must meet the requirements for obtaining and maintaining a valid Gaming License in South Africa.
Work Environment
- Ability to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
- Ability to work in a smoking environment.
Experience
- Previous customer-facing experience in a hospitality, entertainment, or gaming environment.
- Demonstrated competence in dealing Roulette, Blackjack, Baccarat, and Poker.
TECHNICAL SKILLS
- Proficiency in dealing all major casino table games, including Roulette and Blackjack.
- Strong English verbal communication skills.
- Excellent numerical skills, including the ability to perform rapid calculations with large numbers.
- Experience with gaming table equipment: chip handling, chipping machines, shuffling machines.
- Knowledge of betting procedures and compliance requirements.
- Understanding of responsible gambling principles.
- Basic computer literacy for reporting and operational purposes.
