Empact Group is seeking a skilled and dependable Handyman to support building and facility maintenance in Bloemfontein. This role is essential to ensuring that all systems—plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, HVAC—are functional, safe, and compliant.
Minimum Requirements
- Matric (Grade 12) or equivalent qualification
- 2–3 years of hands-on experience in general maintenance and repairs
- Strong proficiency in plumbing, electrical systems, carpentry, painting, and HVAC work
- Solid troubleshooting and fault-finding skills
- Familiarity with health and safety procedures and standards
- Physically fit and able to perform manual tasks including lifting and working in confined spaces

- Effective communication and strong interpersonal skills
- Self-motivated and capable of working independently or in a team

Key Responsibilities
- Conduct general maintenance, repairs, and minor renovations across multiple trades
- Diagnose and troubleshoot facility and equipment issues and implement repairs
- Carry out routine inspections to identify maintenance or safety concerns
- Assemble, install, and repair fixtures, fittings, and equipment
- Respond to maintenance requests and complete work orders within assigned timelines
- Adhere strictly to health, safety, and environmental procedures
- Ensure appropriate use and storage of tools and materials
