Refinery is seeking a dedicated and experienced Supervisor to join its team at Waterfall Mall, Rustenburg. This is an exciting opportunity to assist the Store Manager in driving sales, managing stock, and maintaining high operational standards in a fast-paced retail environment.
Minimum Requirements
- Matric Certificate (Grade 12) or equivalent
- 3 to 5 years of retail experience as a Shop Assistant or in a supervisory role
- Computer literacy (MS Office proficiency)
- Excellent communication skills
- Further qualifications in retail/business management will be an added advantage

- Accurate till operation and cash handling experience
- Strong attention to store presentation, merchandising, and housekeeping standards
- Willingness to take initiative and responsibility
- Consistent record of punctuality and attendance
- A strong understanding of visual merchandising (VM) principles and stock intensity
- Leadership qualities, including the ability to delegate, coach, and motivate team members
- High level of integrity, professionalism, and stress tolerance
- Willing and able to work retail trading hours, including weekends and holidays
- Knowledge of receiving procedures and ability to maintain stockroom layout
- Understanding of Refinery’s policies, values, and procedures
Key Responsibilities
- Maximise profits by supporting the Store Manager to meet sales targets and budgets
- Drive merchandise management, ensuring shelves are fully stocked and correctly displayed
- Support in stock loss prevention and adherence to inventory control policies
- Assist with financial procedures, including daily cash-ups and banking
- Contribute to administration, reporting, and information support functions
- Monitor stock holding levels and ensure proper procedures are followed
- Support HR processes, including new staff onboarding and performance coaching
- Foster a positive store culture by leading by example and promoting Refinery values
