About the Role: Supervisor
As a Supervisor, your core responsibility will be to ensure a seamless customer shopping experience by overseeing replenishment, visual merchandising, store cleanliness, and accurate processing at till points. You’ll act as a key support to store leadership and be an example to junior team members.
This is a full-time, permanent role within the Operations – Stores department of Ackermans.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure efficient and accurate till point processing.
- Maintain a high standard of housekeeping and merchandising throughout the store.
- Replenish stock promptly to reduce stock-outs and ensure availability.
- Supervise the daily store floor activities and assist with customer queries.
- Promote and enforce Ackermans’ policies, procedures, and brand values.
- Provide guidance and support to sales assistants and new staff.
- Drive customer satisfaction and resolve escalated issues when required.
Knowledge, Skills & Experience Required
- Excellent customer care and communication skills.
- Accurate and efficient till operation with a proven track record of minimal overs/unders.
- Commitment to housekeeping and visual merchandising standards.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively.
- A history of good attendance and punctuality.
- Ability to lead by example and maintain Ackermans’ high-performance culture.
