About the Role
As Sales Supervisor, you’ll take on a leadership role in supporting the store manager to meet sales targets, enhance customer satisfaction, and uphold store standards. You will supervise and motivate team members, coordinate daily operations, and ensure that all internal processes and promotions align with Tekkie Town’s expectations.
Minimum Qualifications
- Grade 12 / Matric Certificate
- Computer Literacy: Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Experience and Skills
- 1–2 years of experience as a Senior Sales Assistant in retail
- Fluent in English and at least one additional South African language
- Strong interpersonal and selling abilities
- High energy, goal-driven, and performance-oriented
- Excellent time management, planning, and organization
- Team player who can also operate independently
- Strong leadership and coaching skills
- Exceptional customer service and communication skills
- Logical thinking and solid analytical ability
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Store Manager in achieving monthly sales targets
- Supervise and motivate floor staff to reach daily goals
- Maintain stock control and ensure loss prevention standards are met
- Ensure brand standards and visual merchandising guidelines are implemented
- Coach and mentor Sales Associates
- Assist with opening and closing procedures
- Handle store operations in the Store Manager’s absence
- Ensure staff adhere to company SOPs
- Manage administrative tasks and stock unpacking
- Coordinate sales processes, payments, and customer service interactions
- Monitor and support the unpacking process and stock trend awareness
