Role Overview
The Hybrid Sales Consultant role in Richards Bay is a prime opportunity for driven sales professionals to excel in the security solutions industry. This dynamic position combines in-field and office-based sales strategies, focusing on sourcing new clients and selling tailored security solutions including armed monitoring, CCTV, alarm system upgrades, and electric fencing. This role is ideal for goal-oriented individuals who enjoy fast-paced environments and are skilled at closing deals while nurturing long-term client relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Proactively source and secure armed monitoring and response contracts.
- Promote and sell advanced alarm systems, CCTV setups, and perimeter security solutions.
- Consistently meet or exceed monthly sales and revenue targets.
- Follow up on sales leads received from internal and external sources.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with estate agents, developers, architects, and other stakeholders.
- Provide timely and accurate sales reports on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
- Complete all administrative tasks related to sales processes with precision.
- Attend scheduled meetings and contribute to strategy planning discussions.
Qualifications and Experience
- Matric or an equivalent qualification is required.
- Minimum of 2 years’ proven sales experience, ideally in capital goods or the security sector.
- Knowledge of IDS, DSC, AJAX, or similar alarm systems is advantageous.
- PSIRA Grade C certification is mandatory.
- Must have a valid driver’s license and own reliable vehicle (non-negotiable).
- Competent in MS Office, email communication, and general internet usage.
