Role Overview
The CIT Driver position is a critical role within Fidelity Cash Solutions’ operations in Witbank. As a Cash-In-Transit Driver, you will be responsible for transporting crewmen and custodians to collect and deliver cash, valuables, and other high-risk assets from client locations. Your accountability in ensuring safe transit, punctuality, and compliance with operational protocols is paramount in maintaining the group’s reputation and the safety of its teams and clients.
Key Responsibilities

Safely transport crew and custodians to collection and delivery points.

Manage and take full responsibility for collecting and delivering client cash and assets.

Maintain constant communication via radio with controllers.

Proactively report any delays, suspicious activities, or incidents to the Operations Manager.

Perform thorough vehicle audits, complete necessary checklists, and ensure vehicles are roadworthy.

Complete accident or incident documentation promptly and accurately.

Provide proof of delivery and collection for all client interactions.

Adhere to all standard operating procedures and company policies related to security and safety.
Minimum Requirements

Clear criminal record
-
PSIRA accreditation with at least a Grade C security qualification

Valid Cash-in-Transit (CIT) certificate
-
Firearm competency for business purposes (minimum handgun)

Valid driver’s license (Code C1 or higher) and valid Professional Driving Permit (PDP)

Minimum of 2 years’ experience in the security or CIT sector

Physically fit and able to work under pressure

Willingness to travel and work overtime as needed
