Role Overview
The Witbank branch of Fidelity Cash Solutions is currently seeking a CIT (Cash-In-Transit) Crewman to join its operations team in Hazyview, Mpumalanga. This permanent, entry-level role is suited for candidates with a strong sense of responsibility, alertness, and integrity. The CIT Crewman will be responsible for the secure collection and delivery of cash while ensuring customer service standards are met and incidents are reported proactively.
This is a high-responsibility role within a mission-critical function that supports South Africa’s financial ecosystem. As a CIT Crewman, you’ll be the face of the company to many clients, handling sensitive deliveries and ensuring trust is upheld in every transaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Take full accountability for the safe collection and delivery of client money
- Maintain constant radio contact with control rooms and report all delays or unusual activity
- Monitor the surroundings and take preventative action against suspicious or threatening behavior
- Provide clear and professional communication with clients during collection and delivery
- Deliver all money bags securely and obtain proof of delivery/collection
- Assist with customer service and ensure Fidelity’s reputation for reliability and safety is preserved
- Follow strict standard operating procedures and safety regulations
- Be willing to work overtime and travel as needed
Minimum Requirements
To be eligible for this opportunity, candidates must meet the following essential requirements:
- Valid Grade C PSIRA certification
- Clear criminal record
- Completed firearm training in both handgun and rifle
- Possess a valid SAPS Competency Certificate
- CIT Certificate (Cash-in-Transit certification)
- Previous experience in the security industry or a similar role
- Strong attention to detail and awareness of surroundings
