What You’ll Do
As NAM Assistant for Pick n Pay, you’ll support the management of a major national retail account. Duties include:
National Account Support
- Assist in nurturing strategic relationships across all levels at Pick n Pay
- Monitor the financial implications of product changes
- Support sales forecasting and volume planning
- Help develop and execute account strategies and plans
- Drive implementation of listings, promotions, and activations with key teams
Growth & Innovation
- Translate customer insights into innovation and new product opportunities
- Track performance of initiatives, including launches and promotions
- Coordinate growth plans within the account structure
Reporting & Analysis
- Monitor and report on sales performance by channel and product
- Conduct competitive and assortment analyses
- Assist in creating sales presentations and professional collateral (Excel, PowerPoint, charts)
Category & Pricing Management
- Manage pricing files and resolve related queries
- Support cross-functional category discussions to optimize growth
- Oversee promotional calendars, ensuring compliance with pricing mandates
- Manage advertising budgets and present post-meeting action plans
Account Meetings & Communication
- Attend internal and customer meetings with the NAM
- Schedule and conduct weekly liaison sessions with retail support teams
- Serve as the liaison between RCL Foods and Pick n Pay, via email, phone, and in-person interactions
