Job Purpose
The role will oversee and manage:
- The Accounts Payable (AP) cycle
- Monthly and annual financial reporting
- Budget monitoring and cash flow
- Liaison with auditors, vendors, and internal teams

Minimum Requirements
- BCom Degree with a focus in Accounting
- Completed SAIPA or SAICA articles
- Ability to function independently in a team-based environment
- Advanced Excel proficiency
- Experience with Caseware and Microsoft Dynamics NAV is advantageous
- Valid driver’s license
- Willingness to travel within company operations
Duties and Responsibilities
- Compile and analyse monthly management accounts and submit to leadership
- Maintain and report on cash flow performance against budget
- Review and authorise creditor reconciliations and supplier payments
- Manage and prepare documentation for internal and external audits
- Draft annual financial statements using appropriate tools
- Approve journals, purchase orders, and EFTs on a daily basis
- Provide financial and operational insights to various departments
- Accurately calculate and submit VAT returns in compliance with SARS
- Identify process improvements for accounting systems and control functions
- Support cross-functional communication across suppliers, clients, and internal departments
