AECI Mining is hiring a Warehouse Operator to support the management of raw materials at its Modderfontein site. This role plays a critical function in ensuring the timely and accurate receiving, issuing, and controlling of raw materials used in manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities
1. Storekeeping and Inventory Control
- Receive and store raw materials accurately and efficiently
- Issue materials to manufacturing plants as per requirements
- Perform daily inventory reconciliation using SAP
- Support raw material cycle counts and reporting
2. Stock Movement and Handling
- Offload and transport materials from delivery vehicles
- Ensure safe movement of stock between internal sites and storage areas
- Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment
3. Equipment and Safety Compliance
- Conduct metrology checks where applicable
- Maintain cleanliness and good housekeeping in and around storage facilities
- Report any defective tools or equipment
- Follow Safety, Health, and Environmental (SHE) standards consistently
4. SAP and Systems Usage
- Update SAP R3 system regularly to ensure data accuracy
- Assist with data capturing and reconciliation tasks
Qualifications and Experience Required
To be considered for this role, candidates should meet the following minimum requirements:
- Matric (Grade 12)
- 1–2 years’ experience in storekeeping or material handling
- Code 10 Driver’s Licence
- Forklift Licence – essential for operating machinery
- SAP R3 knowledge – advantageous but not mandatory
- Ability to carry out basic mathematical calculations
- Proficiency in spoken and written English
