Job Description and Daily Responsibilities
As a Warehouse Controller – Spare Parts, your main duty is to ensure that engineering spares are effectively managed, accurately tracked, and issued to the appropriate departments or customers in a timely manner. You will also be responsible for:
1. Spare Parts Storekeeping and Inventory Control
- Receive and issue engineering spare parts to internal and cross-border customers
- Conduct daily reconciliation of physical inventory with SAP system data
- Implement cycle counts and track inventory variances
- Update the inventory management system and escalate system-related discrepancies
2. Efficient Material Handling
- Accurately pick items against pick lists for local and international customer orders
- Ensure smooth goods receipt (GR) and goods issue (GI) processes
- Keep the warehouse well-organized and compliant with company housekeeping standards
3. Reporting and Compliance
- Compile supplier performance records regarding quality and delivery
- Follow all Safety, Health, and Environment (SHE) policies
- Ensure governance and compliance with company systems, procedures, and practices

Qualifications and Skills Required
To be successful in this position, you must meet the following criteria:
- Matric (Grade 12)
- 1–2 years of experience in storekeeping or inventory management
- Proficient in reading, writing, and speaking English
- Must be able to perform basic mathematical calculations
- SAP R3 experience will be advantageous
- A Code 10 Driver’s Licence is a plus but not mandatory
