Role Overview
The ADT Operator position is designed to ensure the safe and efficient hauling and dumping of materials to designated areas using an Articulated Dump Truck (ADT). As a crucial part of the operations team, the operator will be responsible for maintaining high standards of performance, safety compliance, and equipment care.
Key Responsibilities

Perform hauling and dumping operations in line with operational procedures.

Conduct daily pre-shift inspections and report any issues to the supervisor.

Attend scheduled safety meetings and pre-shift briefings.

Adhere to all Fraser Alexander SHEQ-T protocols and employment legislation.

Complete ad-hoc work as assigned by the shift supervisor.

Assist maintenance staff when needed and ensure the equipment is clean and lubricated.

Operate the ADT in accordance with OEM specifications to avoid unnecessary wear and tear.

Avoid hazards and obstacles that may cause equipment damage.
Qualifications and Experience

Grade 12 (Matric) certificate.

Competency certificate to operate ADT machinery.

At least 3 years of hands-on experience operating earthmoving equipment.

Proven ability to pass Psycho motor practical assessments and Dover assessments.
